This rather dramatic shot is typical of Kyneton's weather with it about to piss down at any minute as, indeed, it did during the entire build. This could be termed "problematic" where the client has designed an eaveless straw bale house, the only one on the planet as far as I can ascertain. Whilst this is a courageous design from a weathering point of view, it is most certainly a handsome if solitary example of straw bale construction with many details inside and out that are a credit to the designer, joiner and, in some very minor ways, the builder too.
